Our Story.

We are Mark and Kaleigh Drake and we’re the owners of Oakgrove Custom Furniture.We have always had a passion for creating and for helping people.

As business owners and parents of 3 - we understand as well as anyone that life is busy - and that if you don't make sitting down around a table and pouring into your family a priority, you'll miss it.

The table is a symbol of family, community, and faithful presence. It’s a symbol that we see throughout Scripture as a place where God dwells with and provides for his people. God sets a table for us and joins us around it.

Whether it’s made of rough pine or elegant walnut, a table can become the heart of a home. Yet for many of us, our table is underutilized, at least for the intended purpose of gathering around it. Our tables are covered with the clutter of busy, modern life — surfaces littered with mail, paper work, or school projects. No one in the family bothers to clear off the table because we eat apart, or if we gather at all, it is in front of a screen.

Sharing a table is one of the most uniquely human things we do. No other creature consumes its food at a table. And sharing tables with other people reminds us that there’s more to food than fuel.

Our hope for Oakgrove Custom Furniture, is to build pieces that uniquely fit your families needs and that help you build the relationships that matter the most in your life.
